Satisfy
Satisfy was founded by French designer Brice Partouche, who grew up in the Alps surrounded by mountains, snowboarding culture and skateboarding. Weekends spent at flea markets with his father, who also ran a denim brand in the 1980s, shaped his deep understanding of vintage clothing, fabrics and construction. These early influences form the foundation of Satisfy’s distinctive identity: a blend of technical innovation, fashion sensibility and cultural references.
Brice’s journey into running began in 2014, inspired by his then partner who raced competitively. What started as a way to reset soon became a passion. One early morning in June 2014, during a run in the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, he experienced what many runners call “The High,” a state of mental clarity and complete harmony between body and mind. This moment became the catalyst for Satisfy: the vision to create running apparel that helps people not only run but become runners by reaching that elevated mental state where movement becomes experience.
Satisfy’s design philosophy is built around removing anything that disrupts the runner: chafing, noise, distractions, poor materials or inadequate functionality. Quick dry and moisture management properties are considered a given. Instead, the brand focuses on what Brice calls “technologies of peace and silence,” materials and constructions that make running more meditative and sensory. Inspiration comes from the DIY ethos rooted in skate, punk and subcultural movements: if something does not exist, you create it yourself.
The design process is driven by ideas that emerge during runs, with sketching done immediately afterwards, making Paris as much a studio as the brand’s physical workspace. Satisfy uses advanced materials such as Japanese technical fabrics, ultra light ripstop, perforated constructions and raw cuts, always prioritizing minimal weight, maximum comfort and a visual identity that stands apart from conventional sportswear. Satisfy is about expressing who you are when you run, bringing culture rather than just function into motion.
The name “Satisfy” came to Brice while listening to the song How You Satisfy Me by Sonic Boom, perfectly capturing the fulfilled, elevated feeling after a run or when reaching the runner’s high.
Today, Satisfy is one of the most influential brands in modern running culture, admired by elite athletes and creative minds seeking an alternative to traditional performance apparel. At Vallgatan 12, Satisfy meets an audience that values technical excellence, cultural depth and apparel that enhances the meditative power of running.
