TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following general terms and conditions are applied to the purchase agreement you as a consumer enter into Vallgatan 12 i GBG AB, corporate identity number 556762-6832, referred to as "Vallgatan 12" below. In order to take advatange of your interests as a customer, the provisions of Konsumentköplagen (SFS 1990:932), Distansavtalslagen (SFS 2005:59) and GDPR (SFS 2018:218) on all purchases on www.vallgatan12.se. 

 

Payment

International

All prices are designated in Euro (€). For countries outside of the European Union prices are designated without VAT (except for Norway). Kindly note that VAT, custom duty and other fees may be added at arrival in your country. The price that applies is that of which is stated on the day the order is made.

We're using Klarna Checkout payment solution, which is one of the world's leading payment service providers. Payment can be done via bank card, charge card or credit card if connected to Visa or MasterCard. Please observe that the delivery recipient's name and address must match with the card/account holder's name and address. Vallgatan 12 will not ask for any additional charges for payment with card. No card details are saved at Vallgatan12. We use a safety standard produced by VISA and MasterCard for payment over Internet. The transfer takes place with a safe SSL-encryption. This means no one without permission can see your card details. Contact your card issuer if you have any questions regarding payment. We offer Klarna invoice for the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Austria and Finland. 


Within Sweden

All prices are designated in Swedish Kronor (SEK), including VAT. The price that applies is that of which is stated on the day the order is made.

For purchases within Sweden, we offer Klarna Checkout payment solution where you can pay easily with invoice, part payment, card or direct payment. Read more about Klarna's terms here.

Our physical store Vallgatan 12 in Gothenburg only approves payment by card, Klarna or Swish.

 

Delivery

Delivery cost

For small and medium-sized parcels, the following fee applies for delivery:

Europe: 15 €
Countries outside of Europe: 25 €
Sweden service point: SEK 75 (free shipping on purchases over SEK 700)
Sweden home delivery: SEK 90

For some large stock items and non-stock items, a product-specific shipping fee may apply. In the special cases where we charge a product-specific shipping fee, it is automatically added to the shopping cart.

Delivery time

Stock items are all products if not specifically stated otherwise. Stock products are normally sent from us within 1-3 business days. If a large order is made or a delivery from supplier is delayed the products could have a longer delivery time. In these cases the buyer is informed of this as soon as we have handled the order. 

Non-stock items are products that we do not usually supply and products that have specific terms of delivery. All given delivery times for non-stock items are approximated. If the delivery time is not stated we will come back to you together with the order processing. If you order more than one product with different delivery times at the same time, they will be sent at the same time when all products have arrived to us.

Delivery options

International:
For delivery within Europe, the order will be delivered to your local DHL service point or directly home depending on which country/region you're ordering from. For countries outside of Europe, the order is sent with DHL express delivery. 


Within Sweden:
For service point delivery within Sweden, the order will be delivered to your local DHL service point. We offer home delivery within some areas in Sweden. Where home delivery is possible, an alternative automatically appears in the shopping cart thanks to postcode validation. We offer free pick-up in our physical store as an environmentally smart alternative. We will contact you via email when your order is ready for pickup. Pickup takes place during regular opening hours and within 2 weeks.

 

Returns

For orders placed on our website or via phone Distansavtalslagen is applied. This means that customers have the right to return a purchase within 14 days after receiving the order. The products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered together with the original packaging and associated labels. If returned goods show defects we might not accept the return or arrange a reasonable reduction of the total refund amount. Therefore, be careful when you receive and unwrap products that you might want to return later. We do not accept returns of products that have been used for private or commercial purposes. 

When you use your right to return your order, the return shipping cost is payed by the customer. The return must be sent with a return shipping label issued by Vallgatan 12 and packed carefully. Vallgatan 12 is not responsible for any transport damage during return shipping. Returns are normally handled within 1-2 weeks of arrival and the return cost is deducted from the refund.

The fee for returns varies depending on which country you're ordering from and the parcel size. For small and medium-sized parcels, the following fee applies for return:

Europe: 15 €
Countries outside Europe: 25 €
Sweden: SEK 75

For furniture, carpets and other large packages that are in-stock items, a product-specific return shipping cost applies. If you are wondering what it costs to return a specific piece of furniture or carpet, we recommend you to send an request to order@vallgatan12.seSpecify which product and size your request refers to as well as information about where you live and we'll calculate the return shipping cost for you.

When purchasing a non-stock item, gift card or custom made/ordered item, the right to return does not apply. Posters, books and magazines are also excluded from the returning rights. Items sealed for hygiene reasons such as underwear, beachwear and beauty products cannot be returned unless deemed faulty. 

Return instructions:

  1. First check that your return meets our return conditions
  2. Contact order@vallgatan12.se and request a return shipping label (specify your order number)
  3. Fill in the return form included in the order or download and print it here
  4. Carefully pack the products you want to return
  5. Print the return shipping label and attach it to the parcel. Leave it at your local DHL Service Point.

Fee for unclaimed package or failed delivery attempt

In case of automatically returned orders due to the buyer has not collected the package from delivery point, has not been reachable on supplied mobile number for notification, refused to receive delivery or stated incorrect name-, address or contact details, we will charge the customer a fee. This fee is charged to cover shipping, return shipping, packaging and handling costs. The fee varies depending on the order country and parcel size. For small and medium-sized parcels, the following fee applies for unclaimed consignments or failed delivery attempts:

Europe: 40 € 
Countries outside Europe: 60 €
Sweden: SEK 300

In cases where pickup at Vallgatan 12 has been chosen as the delivery alternative, the customer must pickup his order within 14 days. After 14 days, it is no longer possible to return the order or we have the right of charge a fee of SEK 300.

The fee is debited via invoice or by deducting the amount from the order amount that is refunded after the return has arrived at Vallgatan 12. In cases where the recipient is not present at the time of delivery and wants the order sent again, a cost for a new delivery attempt is added.

Complaints

You have the right to complain about a product if it is affected by manufacturing defects. Contact Vallgatan 12 within a reasonable time at order@vallgatan12.se and attach clear pictures of the incorrect item. We review all complaint cases individually and will return with a message via email shortly. Only original and manufacturing defects are covered by the right to complain, the right to complaint does not include faults caused by normal wear. In the case of approved complaint cases, we are responsible for extra shipping costs. We primarily make sure to repair or replace the product. If this is not possible, we will issue a refund. 


Transport damages

Check the goods for any damage when you receive the delivery. In order for goods with visible, external transport damage to be able to be complained to us, the damage must have been noted at the service point and/or by the courier. If you discover hidden faults or transport damage after opening the package, please contact order@vallgatan12.se directly. Attach clear pictures of defective and packaging. In order for us to be able to complain about transport damage to the shipping company, we need to report the transport damage within 1-3 days. We are therefore grateful if you report the damage within this time.

All attempted fraud is reported to the police. Vallgatan 12 reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected. If you are under 18 years of age, you need your parent's permission to order from us.

We strive to reproduce colors and textures on our website as well as possible. How colors are reproduced depends, among other things, on the device, the monitor settings and other factors. This together means that there may be a certain difference between how a product is reflected in the image and in reality.

We carry the right to afterwards correct eventual faults in details on the site. We reserve ourselves for any faults including product information, price, shipping, stock etc. Even after a completed purchase and delivered order confimation we have the right to change details at any misprints. 

Force Majeure

At events such as war, natural disaster, strike, disruption of transport, illness, import/export ban or other comparable circumstance that Vallgatan 12 does not have control over, Vallgatan 12 is released from fulfilling contractual obligations. Such exemption also applies under the condition that Vallgatan 12's operations cannot be conducted under satisfactory conditions. In the event of force majeure, both the customer and Vallgatan 12 have the right to terminate agreements in whole or in part without the obligation to fulfill obligations or liability for damages. The customer must be notified immediately if there are any of the above-mentioned circumstances that may give rise to an application of this provision.
