The Novesta brand dates back to the 1930s when the famous shoemaker Jan Antonin Bata opened a factory in the city of Partizánske in Slovakia. With its timeless design, Novesta's unique shoes quickly became favorite across Europe. The brand has a large environmental focus and uses only certified materials such as 100% organic cotton and natural rubber. This gives Novesta the opportunity to produce organic shoes of the highest quality. The iconic outsole with its characteristic tire marks today is manufactured by hand by skilled craftsmen in Slovakia.
